Last updated: January 2025. These terms govern your use of Similia’s website, magazine, and booking services. By using the site you accept them; if you disagree with any part, please do not use our services.
The service
Similia publishes an educational magazine on homeopathy and medicinal herbs, and offers paid online consultations with practitioners. Articles reflect traditional use and published literature; they are general information, not personal medical advice.
Booking and appointments
- Consultation fees are shown at the time of booking. Rescheduling or cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the appointment.
- Joining late shortens the session; missed appointments without notice may be charged in full. If you are unwell on the day, simply tell us and we will find a new slot.
- Our practitioners may decline or end a consultation if they believe another form of care would serve you better. In that case they will explain why and refund any fee already paid.
Acceptable use
Do not submit false booking details, copy our articles beyond fair quotation, scrape the site, or post comments that are unlawful, abusive, or promotional. We moderate comments and may remove those that break our guidelines.
Intellectual property
Article text, illustrations, and the Similia name are our property or our authors’ property. You may quote short passages with clear attribution; anything more requires written permission from the editors.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Similia is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law, nor does it affect decisions made together with your own healthcare providers.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. If anything here raises a question, contact us through the contact form before booking.
